The North American International Auto Show (NAIS) is a must-see two-week long event in January. Like many Detroiters and Metro Detroiters, I’ve visited the show throughout my life and in my younger years it was something I looked forward going to every January with my dad. This year’s visit was extra convenient for since Allison and I moved downtown. It was fun to grab dinner and then walk over to the show for a few hours. I was also able to host my brother and his girlfriend when they came to the show which was fun.

Allison is originally from Wisconsin and attending the NAIS was a first for her and she enjoyed it. Frankly, seeing her excitement got me even more excited about the event and how special of an event it is to have here in Detroit and how many families enjoy attending the even together. We spent hours walking around the floor seeing and sitting in the latest cars and it was a lot of fun. For anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to attend the auto show – I would highly recommend attending. If you have kids, be sure to bring them!
