I couldn’t be more satisfied by the variety of live music and big sporting events I was able to experience in 31 days. Every concert I attended this month was unique in both atmosphere and genre. After seeing a piano protégé, an Electro/House musician, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra destroy music from Tim Burton films, I’d say I greatly benefitted from an extremely diverse music month.

In addition to the music, Downtown has been buzzing with excitement from all the home sporting events. Fortunately, I happened to be in the right place at the right time in obtaining tickets to a few. One of the coolest experiences for me this month was being a spectator at the Detroit Free Press marathon. However, my favorite part was watching people run across the river in Canada as I stood on my balcony at the Millender.
