New Year’s resolutions say a lot about a person. In the past, I’ve made resolutions to stop eating at chain restaurants and to even start doing stand up comedy. I weigh less now than I did back then, but I am probably a lot less funny, too.
Below you will find the seven (7) resolutions that I hope to accomplish this year while living, working, playing, giving, and leading in Detroit.
1. Finish the Charlie LeDuff Detroit book that I told myself I wouldn’t read.
2. Stuff myself stupid with food at Rock City Eatery (Hamtramck).
3. Introduce my art friends from New York to the lesser-known Detroit galleries.
4. Give up my car commute (well, at least one day a week).
5. Continue to partner with Detroit non-profits.
6. Join the Y and get back into a shape other than round.
7. Further my career in Detroit by getting my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
