Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays! For as long as I can remember this holiday has been filled with so much family, fun, food and love. This year I am thankful for so many things! I will highlight only a few here:

Team Detroit: My job is amazing flat out! The environment is one that supports you 24/7. I am so thankful to have been placed with such an amazing company. I honesty do love going to work. #WorkDetroit

Family: My parents, my siblings and especially my grandmothers have played such a big role in building the person that I am today. I am so thankful for their constant prayers and influence in my life.

Challenge Detroit Family: The program Directors as well as our challenge partners have been a joy to work with. My fellow fellows are all amazing and bring something special to our team. I am so thankful to be able to live, work, give, lead, and play with this group of people. #ChallengeDetroit

The past few months moving here and exploring have been some of the most enlightening of my life.  I have learned so much about what makes the city special as well as myself. Enthusiasm is contagious and Detroit has definitely caught the fever. Being able to make a difference in this city while exploring my own talents and strengths is such an amazing opportunity. I could go on and on about what I am thankful for from the clothes on my back to shoes on my feet I am truly blessed. So this holiday season let this blog be a reminder to be grateful for all you have.

I am also thankful you reading this blog!

Happy Thanksgiving!
