Tina Saad is our Fellow at DTE Energy where she is on the corporate social responsibility team. Tina is a Dearborn, Michigan native and has a Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University.

Tina has fully embraced the Challenge Detroit experience:

“Having a background in macro social work, corporate social responsibility jobs are rare to have, making my time in Challenge Detroit and my host company, DTE Energy, very important for the trajectory of my career. Challenge Detroit has allowed me to jump-start my career in a space that is highly competitive and scarce to find in Michigan, providing an alluring experience to add to my growing list of accomplishments. Challenge Detroit’s unique program allows fellows the opportunities to work at top companies, network, learn and apply Design Thinking, engage in the community to create high impact and have fun. Being apart of Challenge Detroit allowed me to gain insight on what it is like to be a resident in Detroit; I loved it so much I moved downtown to be a part of the hustle and bustle of twenty-somethings, motivated and determined to make Detroit shine. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and it has been pivotal to the success of my professional career. “
