Over the past several months, I have participated in the New Leaders Council (NLC) fellowship. NLC is an organization committed to training the next generation of progressive leaders. As the youngest participant in the fellowship, I was surrounded by lawyers, business owners, city council members, teachers, and other influential figures that really shaped the way I see my future professional career in Detroit. I am eternally thankful for the opportunity.
