I live in Midtown, which I believe is the heart of Detroit.  I say the heart because I have equal access to all the greater downtown neighborhoods and also have the option of exploring all the great events, venues and cultural happenings going on in Midtown.  Further, as many of my friends and fellows know, I love to ride my bike around Detroit.  Because Midtown is located so centrally, it provides me with the opportunity to ride to almost any location.  I love riding on the flat streets of Detroit and I hope one day I can buy a go-pro camera where I can show the world what I see on my bike.  You can see a lot walking, but you only go so far, and since you move quickly in a car, you only see so much.  I believe a bike provides the perfect medium where I can see so much and cover enough ground that I feel like I saw a lot but can find more the next day.  Being in Detroit on a bike, or really any city, is like being in a candy store.  I want to see and do everything, and my bike helps me accomplish that goal. #BikeDetroit
