During the past few weeks these musical swings have been setup in Cadillac Square, a public green space located across from our apartment. The swings have been one of the most popular attractions that I’ve seen downtown since moving here. I’ve seen hundreds of families bring their kids out to visit the swings. Below is a video of Allison’s experience using the swings. I was impressed by how something simple – such as swinging – engaged both kids and adults. I felt a real sense of joy and community when I visited the swings.
