Allison and I recently had the opportunity to visit Florida for Spring Break.  I have to admit the warm weather was a nice break from the MI winter. I enjoyed every day swimming, fishing, and running on the beach. It was funny though- while on vacation in Florida, I found myself missing Detroit! I missed hanging out with other fellows. I missed the Red Wings. I missed my coffee spots, my running routes, and my neighbors. I missed my coworkers at Mosher Dolan. I missed the sounds of construction, of music, and of cars. Upon our return, Allison and I both commented how much we enjoy living in Detroit. I feel blessed to live in Detroit.
