This was an exciting month. At Levy my team traveled to a site in Indiana and my Challenge 3 team found out our materials were being used and have recently been incorporated in their new website!

At Levy my team and I had the awesome opportunity to visit a few of our sites in Indiana. It was great to see what our lab and steel mill services daily operations look like. The mill environment is so big and industrial I felt like I walked into a Lewis Hine photograph. This new perspective has made me recognize just how large we are. Yet, when we walked in to the mill we were recognized by the cartoons we created of our team that are displayed on our company TVs. It’s a great feeling to be recognized and certainly is something I will be taking away from this experience– like so many other things.

Also this month the fabulous work my team creating during Challenge 3 with Youth Energy Squad was given an update. Our team found out today that the organization took one of our recommendations and updated their website. They also branded it to match much of the work we created together and it looks AMAZING! I couldn’t be more proud of them or our team, it’s truly a satisfying feeling to see our collaborative work pay off!
