You’ve heard of Black Friday, but are you ready for Small Business Saturday? This special day is an opportunity to meet passionate business owners who each have a unique story to tell about themselves, their business and their products while looking for a one-of-a-kind gift. Detroit is the place to be this Small Business Saturday and we’ve compiled a list of five ways that you can shop small, shop local and #shopdetroit this coming weekend:

 

  • November 28 – Shop Detroit Bus Tours & BUILD Bazaar: Detroit Experience Factory (DXF) invites you to “Skip the malls and join us for a unique shopping experience in Detroit, America’s comeback city! We’ll be providing two unique shuttle routes… including the Cass & Canfield district, the shops at the Park Shelton, the Fisher Building, the Livernois Ave. of Fashion and downtown.   • November 28 – Small Business Saturday Market: One of Detroit’s best (and one of our favorite!) bakeries, Good Cakes & Bakes, is hosting over 10 local business on Small Business Saturday in their storefront on Livernois Avenue. You’ll be able to check out unique, locally made jewelry, clothing, accessories, food products, teas and coffees. Click here to learn more.
  • November 29 – Holiday Sunday Street Market: If you’re not worn out from all the events on Saturday, stop by Eastern Market on Sunday where the sheds will be be filled with holiday cheer. You’ll be able to explore the market vendors, district shops and much more. Click here to learn more.
