You’ve heard of Black Friday, but are you ready for Small Business Saturday? This special day is an opportunity to meet passionate business owners who each have a unique story to tell about themselves, their business and their products while looking for a one-of-a-kind gift. Detroit is the place to be this Small Business Saturday and we’ve compiled a list of five ways that you can shop small, shop local and #shopdetroit this coming weekend:
- November 28 – Shop Detroit Bus Tours & BUILD Bazaar: Detroit Experience Factory (DXF) invites you to “Skip the malls and join us for a unique shopping experience in Detroit, America’s comeback city! We’ll be providing two unique shuttle routes… including the Cass & Canfield district, the shops at the Park Shelton, the Fisher Building, the Livernois Ave. of Fashion and downtown. - November 28 – Small Business Saturday Market: One of Detroit’s best (and one of our favorite!) bakeries, Good Cakes & Bakes, is hosting over 10 local business on Small Business Saturday in their storefront on Livernois Avenue.
