My birthday weekend (February 10th) is always special because it falls right on the NBA All-Star break. I’ve always been a big fan of basketball, and being in Detroit is great because it’s a great basketball city. All-Star Friday is always pretty cool – it’s a celebrity game. What makes it interesting is watching a celeb who surprises you by actually being really good at basketball. That happened with Brian McKnight one year. Kevin Hart also surprised me when he played the first time, I won’t lie. All-Star Sunday, of course, is the main event – the All-Star game. Always epic, best players in the game, etc. All-Star Saturday this year, though…my goodness. By far the scene-stealer. I saw some things I’ve never seen in my life.
