I really can’t believe that it’s been a year. I know that’s cliche, but it’s also true. I’ve had my fair share of successes, frustrations, moments of clarity, slip-ups and sighs of relief this year. There were times when I knew my contributions were meaningful and powerful, and times when I wondered if anything could fix the problems we faced together.

All in all, I think I learned patience, appreciation and how to be a better listener this year. And I learned even more about the ins and outs of the city that I still love. I’m very thankful to have had this experience and I wish the new fellows luck in the next year!
