Hmmm….
In my last post I wrote “After one month of living in Detroit without cable or internet it has left me time to think, listen to the radio (old fashioned, trust me I know), and most of all read… A LOT of reading.” Well I really have been reading much more than I ever have at any point in my life, even though I was a Political Science major which naturally led to too many hours spent simply trying understand what Tocqueville, Socrates, and Aristotle were trying to tell me.
Surprisingly, after those years of enlightenment (not really though) I have become sort of an avid reader and I guess I’m going to share what I’ve read so far in the few months I’ve been in Detroit.
Oh, and these all lean heavily towards business+ innovation+ creativity+ design+ entrepreneurship because stories of artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs seem to be just so interesting. Wouldn’t you agree? They continually walk the fine line between genius and insanity because they are constantly faces their fears. It’s tragic and beautifully inspiring all in the same breath.
Until next time.
