It’s been a hell of a year. But beyond all the overt stress and rigor of the fellowship, deep down in places you don’t talk about at parties, there sat a raw dissatisfaction with the mere contemplation of having to keep living life. Lost in the shuffle of my time in the Challenge Detroit fellowship, my blogs have been left unwritten. Countless experiences and emotions of a year gone by certainly warrant some semblance of thoughtful exploration, or at least an acknowledgement in the written word. Between working at DTE Energy, participating in our 5-week challenges, pursuing my personal passion of exploring and discovering as many blocks of the City as I can, and maintaining commitment to family and friends alike, little time remained for a sacrifice of intense introspection to the gods of the blogosphere. Hopefully I can make up for that in the days that follow.
