Tell us about your host company and your role in the organization.
I am a social media coordinator at OneMagnify. Through my role at OneMagnify I plan, create, and manage monthly content calendars for social media. I also oversee and manage social campaigns, and summarize data for clients to develop their social media strategy.
In her role as a social media coordinator, Hannah provides support for Ford Motor Company’s Michigan Central development. Hannah’s growing knowledge of the Detroit community and non-profit organizations has enabled the OneMagnify team to understand the challenges our clients are facing and better support their community engagement efforts.

Tell us about the challenge project you’re currently working on; what are you learning from the experience?
We just started our second challenge project with Npower. In our previous challenge project with Focus Hope, I was selected as one of the project leads. I enjoyed expanding my leadership skills while contributing to such an impactful cause. I am excited for others to have leadership opportunities as we move into our next challenge.
How do you hope to impact the community as a Fellow?
I moved to Detroit from Louisville, Kentucky at the beginning of 2020. It is important to me that I give back to the community I live in. I am looking forward to growing my knowledge and giving back to the community I now call home.
Since becoming a Fellow, what is something new that you have learned?
Since becoming a Fellow I have learned so much about Detroit, the community, and the organizations and businesses that make up this city.
What are you most looking forward to as a Fellow this year?
I am looking forward to building my professional and social network as a Fellow.
If someone is reading this and considering applying to be a Fellow, why would you encourage them to apply?
Challenge Detroit is a great opportunity to expand your social network and impact in the community. I would encourage anyone new to this growing city to apply to this program.
