What do you like to do during the nice summer days?  Do you bbq, go to the pool, or travel?  Regardless, if you are doing those things if you are ever in Detroit here are some things to consider!

With school closing for summer break and missing out on the cool events last summer due to the pandemic, there are a lot of good memories to be made this summer.  My favorite season is the summertime because it is full of sun and fun! You tend to see a lot more family events, concerts, food festivals, and traveling.  When we spend time outside in the sun, our bodies absorb vitamin D and a potentially great tan. In Detroit during the summer, there are many things to enjoy. Here are my top three:

  • Concerts at the Arthea Franklin Amphitheater.  Enjoy a nice night downtown Detroit listening to music with friends and family by the water.
  • River days.  Want a carnival feel in downtown Detroit? Visit River days where you can eat, play and shop. This event happens during the middle of the summer.
  • Belle Isle.  Belle Isle is the best place to have family and friend events to bbq and enjoy activities outside. It is also nice to sit by the water and to look over into Canada.

If you don’t know where to start just step outside and head downtown. You will see plenty of things to do once you are in the heart of the city.

And if that doesn’t help just ask someone where is the best place to go for a coney dog and pop!

Which activity will you be doing this summer?  Please share your comment below!
