Impact Scholarship

The Challenge Detroit Doyle Mosher Impact Scholarship for nonprofit professionals is named after our co-founder and visionary, Doyle Mosher. We have created this scholarship to carry forward his legacy of unwavering optimism, belief in Detroit, and commitment to giving people the opportunity to dream big, grow as leaders, and make a meaningful difference.

Through this scholarship, we hope to invest in the growth of nonprofit professionals across greater Detroit by increasing access to career and leadership development opportunities that may otherwise be inaccessible due to cost.

As a small nonprofit, our leadership team experienced challenges faced by many organizations across the sector. We sought opportunities to strengthen our skills by participating in professional conferences and leadership development programs but limited resources often kept many of those experiences out of reach.

Through this scholarship, we hope to reduce those barriers and expand access to meaningful growth opportunities for nonprofit professionals across our community.

This scholarship is open to anyone who is currently working at a nonprofit and is seeking financial support for leadership or career development opportunities including fees towards professional conferences, workshops, certifications, or education.
