However, I have to say it was &#8211; AMAZING! Earlier this week I experienced the Detroit fireworks firsthand and they were\u00a0the most impressive pyrotechnic\u00a0display that I have ever experienced in person. The display is part of the Detroit-Windsor International Freedom Festival which is a multi-day festival celebrating both the 4th of July and Canada Day during the last week in June. \u00a0This year marked the 58th year for the Detroit Fireworks.\u00a0Over 1 million people attend the event every year.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><em>&#8220;Organizers billed the show as one of the largest fireworks displays in the country, with over 10,000 pyrotechnic effects that would be visible for miles.&#8221; &#8211; Detroit Free Press<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Please check out the time lapse video that we\u00a0created!<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/youtu.be\/Xwdw2hu-cdY<\/p>\n<p>Before catching the fireworks, we grabbed some grub\u00a0from Hot Taco which\u00a0is a great place to visit.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16638  aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.challengedetroit.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/photo-e1469583988338-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"photo\" width=\"274\" height=\"367\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At first I didn&#8217;t know what to think about experiencing the 4th of July fireworks in June.
